“I am an early childhood teacher in a classroom with 3, 4, and 5 years olds. What first appealed to me about the curriculum is that I believe young children should be exposed to the arts. As an educator I recognize the importance of the arts in our classroom. Music, movement, and art allow for the development of many essential life skills; including critical thinking and problem solving. I also believe that children should be exposed to music and art at a young age to help foster their love and abilities in these areas. As I looked further into this curriculum my excitement grew I saw how user friendly was. The leaders guide provides such great guidance and supplementary information. Furthermore, everything is presented in a way that it allows someone who does not have a background in the arts field, like myself, to really be successful and feel confident in teaching the materials. I also loved the flexibility of the program. Although they give you lesson plans to follow, they are presented in an open ended manner allowing for you to add your own touches and modifications, really allowing you to tailor it towards your school, your class, and your children. is a truly wonderful curriculum and I recommend it to all teachers."
